This weekend, Greg and I went to Cape May, NJ with some friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend at the beach and go to the Jamie Cullum concert in Atlantic City. Unfortunately for Carla it rained all weekend so there was no fun in the sun. Fortunately for Greg it rained all weekend so he was able to catch some of the World Cup on a huge HD TV. Greg's side note: David Beckham Rocks!! Carla's side note: David Beckham is hot!!
On Sunday night we headed over to Atlantic City, had dinner at the house of blues, lost five bucks to a slot machine, and then went to the Jamie Collum show (if you've never heard him, check him out). It was good times! The venue was a vey intimate setting...up close and personal! You could see the expressions on all the musicians faces. It was great! Jamie walked out with a can of Guinness in hand. A true Englishman. In the middle of the show he brought out a guy to freestyle along with one of his songs. Turns out, the guy who came out on stage was the same guy that Kevin and I (Greg) rode in the elevator with before the show. Crazy! I guess we should take the time to talk to our elevator mates. You never know who they may be. Anyway, Carla and I had a great time. Thanks to our friends for inviting us to come along!
