Long over due...

well, this post is long over due. we are the proud owners of a new home. we settled on June 28th. so what have we been doing since then you ask? well, our beautiful new home as beautiful wood floors throughout. Yes throughout all six rooms and the stairs. we decided our first project would be to refinish the floors since it would be easiest to work on them with an empty house. so, we are not really living in our new home yet. my parents have graciously let us stay with them until the floors are done. the picture of the front of our house doesn't really do our house justice. the wood work is amazing. all the trim is exposed showing the true beauty and character of our home. here are a few more shots showing the inside of the house.



once we finish the floors, i'll post some before and after shots of the floors. can't wait to have everyone over.
