a weekend away

this past weekend, greg and i went to the poconos with my parent, katie, ryan and bennett. we also had the added bonus of my aunt, kay, and cousin, josh, joining us from chicago. it was such a relaxing and needed break for both of us. i even skipped class for it (don't tell my prof!).


we went for a hike to the river (which for future reference was NOT put in last year).



then a few of us dared to hike back off the beaten path and straight uphill. needless to say, it was an adventure.


we played guitar hero. (don't let my dad fool you...he rocks!!)


then our second cousins came to visit with their wonderful children. Don't worry, they didn't play xbox the whole time. they also hiked to the river. they even got to ride in the back of "cuncle" (cousin/uncle) josh's truck!


then there's this guy who is always the life of the party!


it was such a great time spent with family. soon we will have to return the favor and visit the iversons in chicago!
