being an aunt & uncle is great!!

this summer, greg and i have had the privilege of babysitting for our nephew bennett quite a few times!! it is so fun having the little man run around our house. he does make us laugh. don't tell kate & ryan but we are not the best babysitters. here are just two ways that we tortured our poor nephew this summer.

#1 let him fall out of the front door onto the door mat thus covering his face with small divots and plenty of dirt. then further torture him by documenting it on camera.




#2 take bennett outside in 98 degree weather. if you didn't know, bennett sweats perfusely evidenced by his hair soaked in sweat. this was only 2 minutes after we got outside! can you see the sweat beads coming down his face?



Now before you start thinking we are a terrible aunt and uncle, bennett was able to get back at us when he woke up at 6:30am one saturday morning. as you can see, bennett was ready to take on the day...i on the other hand was not.
