Tri-ath-lon

I always thought it was pronounced tri-ath-a-lon. Anyway, last summer Carla and I went to the Philly tri to cheer some of our friends on and my wife got inspired. She started thinking about what she's going to do with herself once she gets her MBA (she graduates in may!!!!!). "I need a thing" is what she used to tell me. So she looked at me one day and said, "I think I want to run a triathlon." And that was that. She printed out a training schedule (pictured above) and started running and biking in the mornings. And when she doesn't feel like getting up, she goes to her parents and runs on the treadmill, which is kind of funny because it's partially broken and you have to run with the base of it on a slant (like your running uphill). But she does it anyway. If you could look at the training schedule in detail, it's intense, but she's doing it and I'm proud of her! When you see her, ask her how she's doing, and if you aren't doing anything when the tri rolls around this summer, come down to Philly with me cheer her on. I can't wait!
