It's A Boy

Last night, Carla and I had our families over for a party to reveal the sex of our baby. On Monday, we had our twenty week ultrasound and asked the technician to write the sex of the baby on a piece of paper and put it in an envelope. We then gave it to our good friend, Lindsay McIntire, who took it to the baker and had a cake made based on the sex of the baby. We had no idea what we were having. It was actually kind of weird that friends of ours knew what we were having before we did, but it only added to the excitement and anticipation. This is the video of us opening up the cake box and finding out that we're having a boy!

Thanks to Lindsay and Brian for your help and for keeping it a secret! And thanks to our families who indulged and participated with us in all of the excitement. We love you all and are very excited!

P.S. Bennett was so confused as to why there was so much excitement about opening up the box for the cake. While we were all saying, "It's a boy," he was saying, "It's a cake." Love that kid! He's going to be a great cousin!
